Cast Stone Ashlar
Walls can be built of semi-dry cast stone, using Ashlar Blocks. These are built to modern brick/block dimensions and made to order.
They can be ordered with fair-ends and also used in conjunction with other cast stone masonry items, such as “L” shaped Quoins (more information below on quoins
Plain Ashlar - ASH1
440mm long x 215mm high x 100mm deep
A three brick course high block, ideal to match thickness of standard brick wall.
Plain Ashlar - ASH2
440mm long x 215mm high x 120mm deep
A three brick course high block, ideal to match thickness of a rendered wall or natural stone with a 120mm bed.
Plain Ashlar - ASH3
440mm long x 290mm high x 100mm deep
A four brick course high block, ideal to match thickness of standard brick wall.

Chamfered Ashlar - CSH1
440mm long x 215mm high x 120mm deep (100mm bed on top)
A three brick high block, to be used as a plinth, can accept ASH1 Plain Ashlar or brick wall above. External and Internal corner returns are available.

Chamfered Ashlar - CSH3

A four brick high block, to be used as a plinth, can accept ASH4 Plain Ashlar or rendered wall above. External and Internal corner returns are available.
Plain Quoins - "L" Shaped - QS1
440mm long x 215mm high x 100mm deep / 215mm return (100mm bed on top). Suitable for ASH1 Plain ashlar or face brickwork. These are a 90 degree unit to finish an external corner. These are generally stacked in an alternating fashion showing a toothed detail on the corner of the wall.

Bespoke Plinth, Ashlar and Quoins
We are adept at transforming designs into bespoke building products. The process is first realised by CAD design, once confirmed the moulds are made ready for casting. We can match existing profiles or work from architectural drawings to create the desired units.
We are able to cast square-cut rebated ashlar. This provides a rusticated finish to an Ashlar Wall. We can also cast items with larger chamfers and profiles.
